Rossana Conte has dedicated most of her life to music. She has been playing guitar, writing songs and singing since she was 12 years old. Her musical training is totally self-taught.

She has a collection of children's songs, religious songs and songs of love and life, all of which she has written.

Rossana has conducted choirs with vocal harmonies since she was 14 years old, an activity she has continued doing since then. In 1974 she began conducting a choral ensemble at Junior high school in her hometown, Torreón; She was part of 2 choral ensembles and a small orchestra during the year she attended a high school in Canada (Grade 10) 1976-77; she was a member of the vocal ensemble Artífice directed by Eloy Borbolla in 1994-97; Founding Conductor of the San Francisco Javier Choir of the Universidad Iberoamericana Campus Laguna in 1993-99, and conductor of the Arpeggio vocal ensemble from 2000 to 2017.

She has participated in all kinds of concerts as a singer and conductor: Christmas, children’s, recitals of standards in various languages; and in San Miguel de Allende she has participated in personal and group projects with national and international musicians.

Rossana presented her “Estoy de Vuelta” concert with 12 songs written by her and a band of 5 musicians in Oct 2021 in San Miguel de Allende and in April of 2022 in Torreón, Coahuila.
She is currently teaching singing to a small group of children at Ojalá Niños, an NGO in San Miguel Viejo, and taking singing lessons from Alicia Rappaport, a classical singer.
