This Friday, April 12, from Sayulita Nayarit, PUG BAND performs at Banbha.
Pugband’s music has been described as indie, pop-rock and alternative, but it defies these definitions due to its wide stylistic range and eclectic sound. Driven by poetic lyrics yet simple in their use of language, their songs successfully escape conventional harmonic venues.
In addition to the important role played by analog synthesizers and electronic soundscapes, it’s worth mentioning that all of these qualities rest comfortably in their four-part vocal harmonies. Soul, jazz, rock and pop converge to create an interesting aesthetic and an unusual sound.
The members of Pugband are: Nicolás Vélez on drums and vocals, Santiago Gavioli on keyboards, synthesizers and vocals, Valentín González and Gabriel Domeneghini on guitar, bass and vocals.
Happy Hour from 6 to 10 p.m.
