Thursday / Ra bidapa dxi is a Zapotec / Spanish collection of poems written by Víctor Fuentes accompanied by the art and design of Emily CD. The illustrations created in collage and printed, along with the book, in risograph dialogue with poems that tell stories of independent women from Unión Hidalgo in the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, Oaxaca. Victor’s home community and where Emily has spent time as well. This is the second publication that weaves Victor’s words with Emily’s images.
