Dr. Jackie Bouvier Copeland is an award-winning innovator, educator, artist and activist, founder of Black Philanthropy Month, recognized in the Congressional Record for her civic contributions. She is also a noted jazz singer. Rising star Danielle Simmons, from Southern California, is an R&B songstress in the style of Whitney Houston and Lauryn Hill.
In honor of Martin Luther King’s birthday month, Lady Zen is producing “Soul Fusion,” a brunch concert at Ten Ten Pie al Carbon, Stirling Dickinson #5, Col. San Antonio, on Sunday, January 28. Doors open at 11:30am.
