BIO ADOLFO Adolfo Alejo stands out as one of the most active and creative Mexican soloists, recognized by Forbes magazine in 2019. As an artist under the Brilliant Classics label, he has directed and performed with prestigious orchestras around the world. His extensive collaborations include renowned artists and festivals, showcasing his virtuosity on the violin and viola. Alejo’s recordings, including a live DVD from the Berlin Philharmonic’s Kammermusiksaal and a double album on Brilliant Classics, demonstrate his mastery of the repertoire. He is also an ambassador for Bogaro & Clemente Fine Cases, creating his own line inspired by Mexican art. Honored with an Honorary Doctorate for his contribution to Mexican culture, Alejo is acclaimed for his technique and musicality, receiving praise from fellow musicians and critics alike. He has performed on prestigious stages around the world, collaborating with prominent orchestras and artists. Founder and artistic director of the Altalena Music Festival and the Altalena Ensemble since 2014, she is a prominent leader in the musical community of young talents.
