PART OF THE SMA SOLO THEATRE FESTIVAL!
This play manages to be both heartfelt and buoyant, as it portrays an innocent child’s perspective and experience of her mother’s suicide attempts. At the age of seven, a girl hopes that by writing a numbered list of “every brilliant thing” that makes life worth living, she can make her mother feel better. As the child journeys into adulthood, the list evolves alongside her, from just a few things to thousands! The audience is invited to join the storyteller in reflecting on the simple, wonderful, joyful things that inspire hope, even in the darkest times.
