David Mendoza is an internationally-recognized violin player and a San Miguel favorite! He makes his debut at Raindog Lounge this Saturday, playing traditional folk from Mexico and South America, as part of a trio… with his talented parents! Needless to say, we are looking forward to this special show.
The Mendoza Family has been playing since 1976 in Mexico City, making a career of sharing South-American Folk and Traditional Mexican music throughout the country. David’s father, Arturo Mendoza, sings in Baritone and play guitar, while David’s mother, Patricia Diaz, sings Soprano and plays percussion. Patricia has been praised by Toña la Negra as having “an amazing and moving voice, one of the best sopranos I ever heard”.
