By fusing two traditional rhythms such as Veracruz son and African percussion, Afrojarocho is created, knowledge of family heritage that, under the direction of Patricio Hidalgo Jr. in collaboration with Isidro Zavaleta, gives rise to the Afrojarocho Collective, which for more than five years years has the purpose of continuing to spread the work of the Master. Patricio Hidalgo, which highlights and accentuates the African roots in the sounds that make up the jarana, the requinto, the djembe and the experience of other musicians that make up the Collective, in order to bring us closer to these musical roots of tradition.
