A beautiful Swedish masterpiece of modern film. This is a truly phenomenal depiction of Dag Hammarskjöld and you won’t be let down. It really manages to capture both the political person and the human of Dag Hammarskjöld that fought for the freedom he believed in. Mikael Persbrandt is at the pinnacle of his career and he delivers one of the best performances of his career. Persbrandt and it is very mesmerizing to watch the contrast between his apparent stern and concentrated exterior and his tender and loving interior. Definitely one of the best ever political thrillers we’ve seen ! A film you will remember! We highly recommend it! A must watch!
