24 years apart does not prevent them from falling in love and giving life to a passionate relationship that would last several years and would end with a life of spite.
At a time when few women had the opportunity to study, Camille Claudel arrived excited – like every 18-year-old girl – to the city of Paris to enter the Colarussi Academy to study sculpture.
Where, without knowing it, he would find love when he met the famous sculptor Auguste Rodin, who was captivated by his talent.
But love is filled with cracks and spite will last a lifetime.
Work set in 1883, based on the letters that Camille wrote in the last 30 years of her life, never to be delivered.
Gaël Le Cornec creates this work mixing historical and fictional moments, as a tribute to Claudel.
