PART OF THE SMA SOLO THEATRE FESTIVAL!
Experience ten masterful monologues based on real people who live on or across borders geographic and cultural, sharing about their reality; an intimate, raw, funny, poignant performance. Based on conversations along the Southwestern Border and into Mexico, in refugee Safe Houses on the Norther Border with Canada, and from the South Bronx housing projects in his old neighborhood, Hoyle’s newest piece of “journalistic theatre” is his freshest and most urgent.
From the creator of other sensational solo shows: Tings Dey Happen, The Real Americans and Each and Every Thing.
For audiences 16+. Content Advisory: References to racism, gun violence, substance abuse, and homophobia.
Producers´ Note: We are VERY fortunate to include Dan Hoyle and his highly entertaining and poignant show in our line-up. With everything going on in the world regarding “borders,” geographical or imagined, there couldn’t be a more relevant play today with intimate stories that don’t often get told in theatre.
