Bouvier, international jazz fusion singer and songwriter, presents at La Biblioteca the second leg of her world tour I Wish You Love, a show she debuted in February for Carnival in Rio de Janeiro.

Bouvier will be joined by San Miguel’s all-star Afro-Mexican band, which features Sergio Carrillo on bass, Pepe Gaytán on percussion, Carlos Vargas on piano.

I Wish You Love, San Miguel is a love song to this beautiful city and a musical conversation about love’s complex dimensions. In her trademark soul fusion style, Bouvier will present multiple genres spirituals, blues, jazz, R&B, soul, salsa, reggae and more in English, and with some Spanish this time, too.

Because it’s also her birthday, a reception will follow. All net concert proceeds support Casa Hogar Corazon Valiente, a San Miguel girls orphanage.

Tickets are $500 pesos, available in advance at the Biblioteca and their website (click the button at the top of this newsletter for a direct link). Space is limited to 50 seats.
