The Río de Son project is a collaboration between Venezuela and Mexico, and they have prepared a repertoire based on Latin American musical heritage; and the Thompson Sax Project is a collaboration between Cuba and Mexico in a quintet format of saxophones plus percussion, and they present a wide repertoire that includes jazz melodies as well as original compositions and arrangements of compositions by Cuban and Mexican artists.
