Without a doubt David Mendoza is a great promise of music, multi-instrumentalist and better known as an incredible violinist who lives in San Miguel de Allende.
Beyond his understanding of music, David Mendoza understands the feelings.
He knows how to reach them with a violin lunge, with notes placed in the places his heart asks.
Listening to it is healing. Every note he plays tells you a story and they reveal a truth that is hidden from many, denied by others: that the beauty of the simple is what we need to heal this wounded world, eager for music and color.
David is a musician with all his lyrics, thirsty to discover the secrets of music that makes him vibrate to transmit it to people; a musician who seeks to grow and touch the sky with the people he plays for, with his friends. David knows that music is a shared path.
His safety on stage is something to see. Being a multi-instrumentalist and composer, he has great knowledge about what happens on stage and an attentive ear that helps him get to what he is imagining; He is a guide who takes both his musicians and the public to new and bright places, in colors that can be seen and felt. Or as Grammy nominee Michael Hoppe describes him, as an "incredibly expressive violinist, one of the most beautiful sounds in San Miguel de Allenede"
For his Monday's shows he will share his solo project, playing the most amazing European new classic music, gorgeous music from traditional composers like Ennio Morricone and others, as well as original compositions by his authorship.
For his Friday's shows he will share a stage with his amazing mother Patricia Diaz, she will accompany him in the soprano voice, and Ignacio A. Mendoza, his talented father, on the guitar and baritone voice.
Together they will interpret traditional Mexican and South American songs by composers such as Mercedes Sosa, Consuelo Velázquez, Silvio Rodríguez and more, arranged as a family, in a vibe of union, harmony and tradition.
Each David Mendoza concert is a different experience, full of emotions, of love for music, full of love for family and unity, with a great sense of community. People from different parts of the world have lived the experience and go home wanting to feel it again. No one can miss the opportunity to listen to David Mendoza solo show, as well as with his family on stage.
Alberto Robledo Cervantes is one of the most talented Saxophone and Clarinet players in the country.
