The Daughters of San Miguel:
The true stories of five women from San Miguel de Allende were collected and written by Julie Heifitz. These stories tell of the struggles that these, and other Mexican women endure in trying to go beyond the confines of the past role of women, work outside their homes, and help create the middle class in Mexico and Mexican Cities.
