Biography

Rodrigo RV, was born in Tulancingo de Bravo, Hidalgo. At an early age, he studied the trombone and guitar. He then, switched his focus to the sax, and studied under international saxophone masters, Alfred Thompson (Cuba), Luis Deniz (Canada), and Fred Hass (USA).

He has performed with San Miguel groups, Voz de Cajón, Bill Kavanagh & Friends, Los Sísmicos, Jazz Cats, The Duncan's and more. Additionally, he has performed at International Jazz Festivals of Querétaro, San Miguel de Allende, the Blues & Jazz Festival Tulum, plus more.

Rodrigo performed tenor sax on Bill Kavanagh's latest album, as well as, having other recordings under his belt.
