Event Description
Selected โPolitics, Laughter & Obsessionโ films at Teatro Santa Ana, La Biblioteca, every Wednesday in June
๐ฅThe Big Lebowski | Dir. Joel Coen & Ethan Coen
In English | 117 min.
๐Set in Los Angeles, the film follows Jeffrey โThe Dudeโ Lebowski, an aging slacker whose laid-back existence is disrupted when he is mistaken for a millionaire with the same name.
What begins as a case of mistaken identity spirals into a convoluted scheme involving a missing trophy wife, pornographers, nihilists, and a ransom that may or may not exist.
The Dude, accompanied by his volatile friend Walter and the hapless Donny, drifts through the chaos with detached confusion, guided less by logic than by circumstance.
