Event Description

Open auditions for the Diez Minutos Play Festival, produced by Players Workshop San Miguel de Allende. Auditions take place November 4, 2026, at Sala Quetzal, Biblioteca Pública, Relox 50, San Miguel de Allende. Use the QR code to schedule, or drop in anytime between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. Please bring a prepared, fully memorized monologue no longer than three minutes. The user context also notes that people without a memorized piece may come anyway and will be invited to read from one of the plays. Diez Minutos is a festival of original ten-minute plays selected from more than 150 international entries; this year's theme is “Small Spaces.” Festival performances are scheduled at Teatro Santa Ana on January 13–16 and 27–30. Participants must commit to two to three weeks of rehearsal and fully memorize their scripts.
