Event Description
Miguel Ángel Omaña returns to the Sala Quetzal with a concert dedicated to the richness and diversity of the Latin
American guitar.
This program celebrates the identity, rhythm, and poetic sound of a tradition deeply rooted in the continent’s musical history.
The repertoire includes works by Antonio Lauro, Agustín Barrios, Manuel M. Ponce, and Heitor Villa-Lobos—composers who transformed the guitar into a vehicle for both intimate and universal expression.
In this concert, Omaña also presents a new sonic approach, incorporating effects in an organic and respectful manner, broadening the expressive horizons of the classical guitar without altering its delicate nature.
