Event Description

A hands-on introduction to traditional embroidery and its relationship to identity and emotional well-being. Using milagritos, representative elements of San Miguel de Allende, participants will learn basic stitches and create their own embroidery piece. The workshop includes mindful breathing exercises and a brief reflection on the value of the practice. For ages 15 and up. Materials included: fabric, colored threads, needle, and embroidery hoop. Cost: $400 MXN. Held in the cafeteria at El Sindicato Centro Cultural Comunitario.
