Synopsis:
Set during the Mexican Revolution, Zapatista general José Juan Reyes arrives in the town of Cholula to confiscate the wealth of the town’s great families.
He has to confront the beautiful Beatriz, who refuses to allow the looting of her father’s company.
José Juan and Beatriz, played by María Félix and Pedro Armendáriz, are caught up in their courtship between her upcoming wedding and the departure of the Zapatistas.
