Biography

Yuyu Ferso is an independent artist from Ixhuacan, Veracruz. She began her artistic and musical studies at the age of 15 in Xalapa, Veracruz. She began playing cello in the SEV Children's and Youth Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Nicolás Capilla, took preparatory JazzUV courses, and finally earned a degree in singing from the UV Jazz Studies Center (JazzUV). She has presented her compositions through the "La Yaya Sol" project in different states of Mexico, including San Luis Potosí, Querétaro, Michoacán, Puebla, Mexico City, Veracruz, Hidalgo, and Guanajuato, with musicians such as Karina Colis, Anie Batres, Kero One, Indoor Projet, Papacho Sirdey, and groups and the Maria Negra duet.

She is currently a singer in the band "Thisisentropy," which is primarily based in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, performing in venues such as Teatro Santa Anna, Casa Angelitos, Café Rama, Amapola, Café Amuleto, Raindog Lounge, and El Sindicato, among others.
