Biography

Swing de Paris is a group dedicated to keeping alive an era in which guitarist Django Reinhardt (1910-1953) left his mark on the world of jazz, mixing traditional gypsy and French music; musett's with swing and jazz from the 30's.
This group has appeared in local, state and international forums. It has also been presented on the cultural channels of the state of Guanajuato, at the Django Reinhardt Festival, Tepoztlan, Morelos and at the Jazz Festival, Querétaro 2018, among others.
The project is integrated by:
• Julian Arcos (Guitar)
• Pedro Cartas (violin)
• Eli Doney (Guitar)
Ocasionally joined by David Barrera on counterbass

Additional Information

Swing de Paris is a Group started by Eli Doney and Julián Arcos. Later, the great Pedro Cartas joined them on violin. The idea of the group is to keep the music of Django Reinhardt and Stephan Grapelli, Swing and Traditional Gipsy music alive. We perform every Wednesday At Mama Mia Restaurante in town starting at 8:00 pm.
