Biography

Jazz is a Mexican cook and actress who creates intimate culinary experiences in San Miguel de Allende. Through My Mexican Kitchen, she invites visitors to explore a local market, discover traditional ingredients and prepare authentic Mexican salsas and quesadillas in a welcoming home kitchen. Her experiences combine hands-on cooking, family stories, humor and cultural exchange, offering guests a warm and personal way to discover everyday Mexican food and traditions.

Additional Information

My Mexican Kitchen offers hands-on culinary experiences for travelers, local residents, private groups and special celebrations. Experiences usually begin at Mercado San Juan de Dios and continue at Hääsi Casa Cultural, where participants cook and enjoy a shared meal together.

Activities are available in English and Spanish, usually at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., subject to advance reservation. Private experiences and customized menus may also be arranged. I am open to collaborations with hotels, concierges, tour guides, travel agencies, cultural organizations and other local businesses interested in promoting authentic Mexican food and traditions.
