Biography

Kimani Carrazana, percussionist. He was born on January 9, 1978 in Havana. Graduated from the Félix Varela Higher School of Music in La Vibora. He was part of the Caribe Expreso group for more than 10 years. Since 2001 he has lived in Mexico, currently in San Miguel de Allende. In Aztec land he has worked with the trumpeter Luis Gasca (who played in Pérez Prado's orchestra), with the Cuban pianist Gabriel Hernández, with the soprano singer Adriana Valdés, with the flutist Orlando "Maraca" Valle, and the guitarist Gil Gutiérrez , with drummer Dagoberto Quintana, with Czech American trumpeter Doc Severinsen.
