Biography
John Jessup plays acoustic guitar and sings the great American songbook, across genres of Popular, Folk, Rock, Country and Western Swing music, including covers of Stephen Foster, Johnny Cash, John Prine, The Kingston Trio, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Beatles and hundreds more. Performances in San Miguel de Allende since 2018 include shows at Paprika, Bananas, Don Lupe Grill, Kenny's and Tupinamba. Currently hosting Open Mic sessions at Paprika on Friday afternoons.

My career in radio, TV and voice-overs began on April Fool's day, 1964 and included producing and hosting public affairs television, 23 years in the cast of the award-winning radio comedy show Right Between The Ears, thousands of commercials and corporate communications and even anchoring the six o'clock evening news for the US Army in Seoul, Korea. I've played and sung folk and country music since age 14 and now am delighted to be participating in the acoustic music scene in San Miguel de Allende.
