Biography
I am an experienced dance instructor with more than 30 years dedicated to teaching movement, rhythm, and cultural dance traditions. I graduated from the Escuela Nacional de Arte dance school in Havana, Cuba, and have spent the past 24 years teaching children and adults in Guadalajara, Oaxaca, and San Miguel de Allende. I teach a wide range of dance styles, including Salsa, Son Cubano, Afro-Cuban dance, and hip hop, which allows me to work with students of different ages, backgrounds, and skill levels.
In addition to dance instruction, I have experience leading water aerobics and movement classes for older adults, focusing on safe, enjoyable physical activity. I am passionate about sharing the joy of dance and movement and am seeking a meaningful opportunity as a dance and movement instructor to inspire students, promote cultural appreciation, and help build healthy, active communities.
