Biographie
Double bassist, composer, educator, and arranger.
Originally from Acambay, State of Mexico.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz from Universidad Veracruzana’s Centro de Estudios de Jazz (JazzUV), graduating with honors in 2022, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management in Communication and Entertainment from Escuela Bancaria y Comercial (2017).
He was a distinguished student of musicians such as Adrián Flores, Lasse Mørck, Adrián Terrazas-González, among others.
He has shared the stage with musicians including Gabriel Hernández (Cuba), Doug Robinson (USA), Jaime Valle (Mexico), Gil Gutiérrez (Oaxaca), Alfred Thompson (Cuba), Dulce Resillas (Mexico), Vero Pérez (Bolivia), and Louise Phelan (Ireland), among others.
He has also collaborated on projects such as the folk group Satán es Real (Mexicali) and with YouTuber Josué Aguirre from the channel Monitor Fantasma (Peru).
He has performed at Festival Experimental Querétaro 2022, Festival de Jazz de Querétaro 2023, and Festival Jazz en Movimiento 2024.
Co-leader of the Flores/Serrano Project, and musician and arranger for the group Boop & Swing.
He works as an independent teacher, with experience in both children’s and professional music education.
Founder of ArtPromo, an independent digital art magazine focused on promoting emerging artists and producing artistic and cultural events.
He is currently developing his original music project and is an active musician in the Polish jazz scene.
