Biographie

Eli Doney is a jazz guitarist born in San Miguel Allende.
He started his musical studies at age 13. He inherited his passion for music from His father Jim Doney who is also a great jazz musician.
Eli lived in Seattle, Washington for some years where he discovered the music of Django Reinhardt, nowadays known as gipsy jazz. He immersed himself in that genre of music and went to several jazz festivals. He got to meet, study, and attend Master Classes with great masters of that style like Bireli Lagrene, Antoine Boyer Sebastien Giniaux, and more.
Eli has had several projects in Mexico such as Swing de Paris, Gadjo, Anouman, and many collaborations with more musicians.
Nowadays he resides in San Miguel Allende and presents himself in several different establishments and events.
