Singer/Songwriter/Bassist/Guitarist Bill Kavanagh moved to San Miguel De Allende in October of 2019 and quickly became part of the local music scene, attending Open Mics where he accompanies himself on guitar and plays bass guitar with anyone desiring accompaniment. Bill plays occasional solo gigs around town, plays bass with numerous artists and bands, plays rhythm guitar in Felecia Ford’s bands and fronts his own 7-8 piece band, Bill Kavanagh & Friends, focusing on his originals and select covers.
Bill has played at Teatro Angela Peralta, Teatro Santa Ana, Foro El Obraje, San Miguel Playhouse, Shelter Theater, Paprika Restaurante, Raindog Lounge, Raindog Cantina (Tupinanmba), Raindog Sunset Sessions, Cent’anni, Trina Cantina, Don Lupe Grill, Pulcheria Otomi and more.
After playing on numerous albums by other artists over the years, Bill recently released his second solo album of original songs, “Paradise Beyond The Razor Wire”, following his 2022 debut, “With A Buncha Help From A Buncha My Friends”.
