🎥I Know Where I'm Going! | 1945
In English | Dur. 91 min
Based on an original screenplay by Powell and Pressburger, is a luminous blend of romance, character study, and Celtic atmosphere.
The story follows Joan Webster, a fiercely determined young woman traveling to a remote island in the Scottish Hebrides to marry a wealthy industrialist. Confident she has her life perfectly planned, she believes ambition and certainty will carry her to the future she wants.
When a violent storm strands her on the island of Mull, Joan’s rigid worldview begins to shift. Waiting for the weather to clear, she meets Torquil MacNeil a naval officer whose calm, grounded presence challenges her assumptions.
The island’s landscapes, myths, and close-knit community slowly erode her sense of control, pushing her to confront what she truly desires.
