An aged father and his mentally challenged younger son run a traditional bathhouse in old Beijing, providing a beloved gathering place for a motley group of regular customers. When the elder son, a successful businessman who left years ago for Shenzhen, abruptly returns believing his father has died, long-broken father-son ties are put under stress as the bathhouse faces demolition. A light-hearted yet deeply moving exploration of family, friendship, and the vanishing rhythms of tradition.
