Description de l'événement

Presentation of the book “Guanajuato, don't crack!” José Alfredo Jiménez arrived a hundred years ago and at forty-seven he left, leaving the empty bottle in the corner of the cantina while his songs sounded over and over again, until the last drink left the glass in silence.

That musical universe inspires the eleven stories gathered in the book "Guanajuato, don't crack!", a book that turns song into story and memory into fiction.

The stories travel through the paths of the State and dialogue with a deeply rooted imaginary, where popular music is not imitated or cited, but rather becomes a narrative.

Attend this presentation of the book with the authors: Lola Horner, Rodrigo Díaz and Luis Camarena
