Description de l'événement

Opera de San Miguel presents the 17th annual Concurso San Miguel, a nationwide contest for young Mexican opera singers.

The 9 finalists and 3 special guests selected from over 150 applicants from every state in Mexico will spend the prior week in San Miguel participating in musical, dramatic and language coaching, master classes, lectures and career counseling.

At the final concert of the competition on Saturday night, they will sing their best arias to an international panel of judges.

In addition to cash prizes, winners will earn scholarships, internships and performance opportunities.

Ópera de San Miguel, AC is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to identifying and encouraging, through professional grants and performance opportunities, young opera singers in Mexico.
