Description de l'événement
"Ana Verónica Ramírez Rodríguez was born and raised in San Miguel de Allende — not the San Miguel of
boutique hotels and food festivals, but the smaller, quieter town where dirt roads ran along Calle
Loreto, donkeys grazed near the market, and children walked to school alone at six years old. She is a
daughter of that San Miguel, and she carries it with her everywhere she goes.
Her family comes from the ranchos — the small villages just outside of town — and her lineage is Otomí.
Her Abuelita Carmen was the healer of her village: a trusted, effective Otomí healer who still spoke the
Otomí language. As a child, Ana Verónica was both witness and recipient of her grandmother's healing
practices, as well as her mother's. This ancestral care allowed her to recover from several illnesses in her
early years. That experience planted something lasting: a deep trust in the body's capacity to heal, and a
calling to share that knowledge with others.
Ana Verónica holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Pharmacobiology — because she has always
believed that science and ancestral wisdom are not opposites. They are partners. She has spent years
studying scientific literature on the body, the brain, and nutrition, and weaving that understanding
together with the rituals, medicinal plants, sacred ceremonies, traditional dance, and healing foods
passed down through her Otomí lineage.
Today she is the founder of Diyapentu Healing Space in San Miguel de Allende. Diyapentu is an Otomí
word meaning the alignment of physical, emotional and mental energies in conjunction with the Great
Spirit — and that alignment is the foundation of everything she offers. She works with clients in person
in San Miguel and online globally, offering healing programs, workshops, ancestral massage, medicinal
plant walks, ceremonies, and remedies rooted in the living tradition of her people.
She is also the creator of the Goddessa-Tierra Line — a self-care and ancestral healing product line
currently in development — and the founder of the Heal the Healers initiative, which provides free
healing circles for environmental and grassroots leaders worldwide.
Ana Verónica has returned to San Miguel to do what her grandmother did before her: heal the people of
this town, and anyone else who is ready to return to themselves."
