Description de l'événement
Alberto Ruy Sánchez and Margarita de Orellana will be presenting at a conversation with Carmen Rioja at the Literature Seminar at La Biblioteca Pública.
Ruy Sánchez's most recent book "El silencio del gato" will be presented, and at the end you will have the opportunity to socialize with the authors at their book signing.
"El silencio del gato."
The cat is not ours. Gentle, it allows us to live with that illusion, but those of us who love him know that possessing another's life is a mirage.
Ruy Sánchez reminds us that theoretically and grey, we know what a cat is, but that beautiful presence is, above all, "Air and fire / dancing silence. / Mystery and question. / A thousand changing answers."
Ruy Sánchez evokes other writers, other officiants who also knew that in feline silence is encrypted what we do not fully understand: the reason for life. Life and the cat are "light that is clarity and mystery / like a book that finally closes."
