Friday, September 18: 18:30 — “Pulque, te quiero,” a documentary exploring pulque as a sacred drink and keeper of ancestral memory, the traditions and living symbols associated with Mayahuel, Patecatl, Xólotl and Quetzalcóatl, and the relationship between nature and tradition. 18:40 — “El sueño de las luciérnagas,” following avocado-cutting workers in Uruapan, Michoacán, as they reflect on their lives, long working days, and social and environmental change in their community.
