Description de l'événement
Screening as part of the XIV Encuentro Hispanoamericano de Cine y Video Documental Independiente, Contra el Silencio Todas las Voces. On Friday, September 11 at 18:30, the program presents "Coquito con Mortadella." After ten years of absence, Bebé returns to Havana, a city she had only known through reels, posts, and influencer videos. What she finds is far from those idealized images: a city full of contradictions, beauty, and decay, revealing the wounds of time. The film is described as an honest and unadorned portrait sustained by two opposing voices—one living Cuban reality day by day and one returning with questions—inviting viewers to confront the complexity of a country where repression, inequality, and disenchantment coexist with memory, human bonds, and persistent dreams. Venue: Centro Cultural Comunitario El Sindicato, Recreo 4, San Miguel de Allende.
