Pilar returns to her childhood home on the coast of Veracruz, fleeing a failed marriage. There, she finds her house in ruins, swallowed by sand, and Luis, an old friend she hasn’t seen since adolescence, who writes on the walls of abandoned buildings. Also staying in the house is Miguel, a young writer paralyzed by the fear of not being good enough.
