Event Description

Selected films at Teatro Santa Ana, La Biblioteca, every Wednesday in March

🎥Young Frankenstein | 1974 | Mel Brooks
In English | 106 min

Mel Brooks’ Young Frankenstein is a masterful parody that pays loving tribute to the classic Universal horror films of the 1930s.

Shot in black and white and using original laboratory equipment from Frankenstein (1931), the film follows Dr. Frederick Frankenstein, a young American scientist determined to distance himself from his infamous family legacy.

When he inherits his grandfather’s Transylvanian estate, Frederick is drawn—against his better judgment—into the world of mad science, assisted by the unforgettable Igor and the stern housekeeper Frau Blücher.
