Event Description

Selected films at Teatro Santa Ana in La Biblioteca every December Wednesday.

🎥Playtime | 1967 | France
Dir. Jacques Tati | Dur. 124 min

In French with English subtitles

🎞Set in a hyper-modern, glass- and-steel Paris, Monsieur Hulot wanders through a world of gleaming surfaces, endless reflections, and mechanical absurdities.

The film’s intricate choreography, wide compositions, and subtle humor create an immersive, dreamlike experience that celebrates human clumsiness amid technological perfection.
