Event Description
Six-day art workshop at Casa de la Noche with artists Elizabeth Schowachert and Gabriela Sánchez: Zen painting (sumi-e), encaustic monotypes, and brushmaking with natural Mexican materials. No prior experience required. Includes all materials, gallery visits (Atotonilco, Fábrica La Aurora), and a final public group exhibition. Limited to 12 participants.
Local option for San Miguel-area residents: $2,950 USD, workshop only (Nov 6–11; does not include lodging or meals). Full retreat with 7 nights at Casa de la Noche: $3,800 USD (Nov 5–12).
