Event Description

CINE BACCO Art Films & Concerts presents a screening of Sunset Boulevard (USA, 1950), a 1h50 film noir/drama directed by Billy Wilder. A struggling young screenwriter fleeing repossession men stumbles into the crumbling mansion of Norma Desmond, a forgotten silent-film star dreaming of a glorious comeback. What begins as an opportunity becomes a trap in this dark, elegant Hollywood classic, widely considered one of the greatest films ever made and winner of three Academy Awards. Starring William Holden, Gloria Swanson, Erich von Stroheim, Nancy Olson, Fred Clark, Lloyd Gough, and Jack Webb. Screenings at 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Entrance is 150 pesos and includes one drink. Venue address: Hernandez Macias 59, San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico.
