Ricardo Benítez Album Launch: El Mago y los Sueños

Cine Bacco Concert Series Vol. XXXVII presents the album launch of "El Mago y los Sueños" by Cuban flutist Ricardo Benítez.

Recorded live over three nights at Jazzatlán Capital in Mexico City, "El Mago y los Sueños" distills a decade of original compositions into a single, spellbinding statement. Rooted in the traditions of Cuban jazz yet unfettered by regional borders, the project is a celebration of pure improvisational joy — ten tracks that justify the art form and nothing more.

For this special Cine Bacco presentation in San Miguel de Allende, Benítez leads a powerhouse quartet:
- Ricardo Benítez – flute
- Alfred Thompson – piano
- Rubén Olvera – bass
- Isaac Villagómez – drums

The repertoire, revisited and reimagined, takes on new life in the hands of this fresh ensemble, delivering the album’s bold compositions with renewed fire and collective alchemy.

There will be two intimate concerts on the same evening (5:00 pm and 7:00 pm) in the beautifully revamped Cine Bacco theater at Hernández Macías 59, known for its excellent acoustics and cozy concert atmosphere.

Tickets: 600 MXN. Presale and home-delivery tickets are highly recommended due to limited space.
