Event Description
Enjoy the screening of Pickpocket, the acclaimed 1959 crime drama directed by Robert Bresson and starring Martin LaSalle and Marika Green.
The film follows Michel, a lonely young man who spends his time quietly pickpocketing strangers while trying to avoid being caught by the police. As suspicions grow and his personal relationships become more complicated, Michel begins to face the consequences of his choices. Precise, minimalist, and deeply psychological, Pickpocket is a powerful character study and one of Bresson’s best-known works.
