Event Description

CINE BACCO Art Films & Concerts presents a screening of the Mexican drama film "Moscas". Directed by Fernando Eimbcke, the film was presented in Berlinale Competition and Guadalajara. A boy and his father rent a small room in the apartment of a lonely, hard-edged woman to be near the hospital where the boy's mother lies in intensive care. Shot in luminous black and white, this deeply humane portrait of grief and unexpected bonds stars Teresa Sánchez, Bastián Escobar, Hugo Ramírez, and Enrique Arreola. Screenings at 3:30 PM, 6:00 PM, and 8:00 PM; the 3:30 PM and 6:00 PM screenings have English subtitles, and the 8:00 PM screening has Spanish subtitles. Entrance is 150 pesos and includes one drink.
