Event Description
Miguel Ángel Omaña returns to the Quetzal room of the Library with a concert dedicated to the richness and diversity of Latin American guitar.
This program celebrates the identity, rhythm and sound poetry of a tradition deeply rooted in the musical history of the continent.
The repertoire includes works by Antonio Lauro, Agustín Barrios, Manuel M. Ponce and Heitor Villa-Lobos, composers who transformed the guitar into a vehicle of intimate and universal expression.
In this concert, Omaña also presents a new sound proposal, incorporating effects in an organic and respectful way, expanding the expressive horizon of classical guitar without altering its delicate nature.
