Event Description
Join Fernando de Rocío in this intimate tribute to our beloved ancestors.
De Rocío will perform classical guitar music inspired by the Día de Muertos, nostalgia, and memories of loved ones.
He will also premiere his arrangement of the beautiful “Milonga” by the renowned Argentine guitarist and composer Jorge Cardoso.
Fernando de Rocío earned his bachelor’s degree in concert performance from UNAM and his master’s degree in performance from Memorial University of Newfoundland in Canada.
He is back in San Miguel de Allende, the city where he grew up, to share with the public the beauty and richness of the concert guitar repertoire, while continuing his ongoing quest to expand that repertoire through new and original music.
