Event Description

Experience the Cervantino International Festival from the Teatro Santa Ana in La Biblioteca.

Enjoy the 🎥broadcast of the play “1984 de George Orwell” (adaptation) by Collectif 8

Dur. 95 min

This adaptation of the novel is a contemporary version of themes that the author anticipated in his writing and which remain relevant today. 1984 remains relevant for its critique of oppression and totalitarian control.

🎥The staging, directed by Gaële Boghossian and Paulo Correia, directly addresses mass surveillance, the manipulation of information, and the restriction of freedoms.

The production combines theater, visual arts, digital creation, and music, using multimedia technologies to enhance the dramaturgy and offer an immersive experience.
