I hope you can join this week for a relaxed afternoon of conversation, connection, and genuine community.
Whether you've just arrived in San Miguel de Allende, are considering a move, or have called this city home for years, our weekly luncheon is designed to make it easy to meet people and feel part of a community. Many guests attend on their own and leave having shared meaningful conversations, exchanged contact details, and made plans to meet again.
This is a consistent, welcoming space where friendships form naturally over time—not a one-off event, but an ongoing community gathering.
We welcome visitors, expats, retirees, digital nomads, part-time residents, and longtime locals. You do not need to be new to San Miguel to attend. Many of our regular guests return weekly to reconnect with familiar faces while continuing to expand their circle.
We gather in a comfortable restaurant setting around small tables designed to encourage conversation and inclusion. Guests simply order from the menu and enjoy a relaxed afternoon with fellow English-speaking residents and visitors.
Our luncheons are social gatherings first and foremost. At the end of the meal, we include a brief, informal presentation on a topic relevant to life in San Miguel. These talks are a consistent highlight of the afternoon and offer practical insight into the local community.
This week, we are pleased to welcome Sandra Pérez, telling us: Everything You Need to Know About Insurance in Mexico.
Meet Sandra Pérez: She is an independent insurance advisor with more than seven years of experience helping individuals, families, and expats find the right insurance solutions for their unique needs.
Rather than working with a single provider, Sandra uses a multi-carrier approach, allowing her to compare options across multiple companies and design coverage that aligns with each client's goals, lifestyle, and budget.
Seats are intentionally limited to keep the group conversational and welcoming. Reservations are required and often fill in advance, typically within the days leading up to the event. Early booking is strongly recommended.
